Introducing Tanqueray x Abel Elevating Room Scent
Celebrating the power and beauty of a perfect botanical blend.
In 1830, Charles Tanqueray couldn’t find the perfect gin and so was driven to make his own. A quest that we at Abel, have mirrored 170 years later, when we couldn’t find a modern, chic natural perfume.
Tanqueray has a long rich history devoted to the beauty of botanicals (our favourite things), so when they approached us about creating a bespoke scent for them, it was a very exciting prospect indeed!
Charles Tanqueray’s quest led him to develop an iconic blend of four key botanicals: Juniper, Coriander, Angelica Root and Licorice. Inspired by this distinctive four-botanical blend, our Master Perfumer Isaac Sinclair used Tanqueray’s hero notes as the basis for this complex, elegant room scent. In Isaac’s words…
"Classic Tanqueray ingredients such as Juniper, Coriander and Angelica are paired with the freshness of Bergamot and juxtaposed against a backdrop of warm forest elements such as Cedarwood and Labdanum…"
The result is a scent that is distinctly traditional, yet also unmistakably contemporary and the perfect fusion of our two brands.
We have created just 300 bottles of this beautiful collaboration and (unfortunately) these are only available in Europe. But watch this space, you never know what’s on the horizon…
