1. Tell us about yourself!
I’m Romy, just turned 28, living in Amsterdam and married to the love of my life. I’m a full-time mother of two at the moment, and a lover of beautiful things forever. Next to that I write a monthly column in the Dutch Vogue and I’m launching my own jewellery collection together with Anna+Nina Atelier in June which I’m looking forward to so much.
2. What is your connection to Abel?
Both times I fell pregnant I was so nauseous that smells became one of my biggest enemies. Nurture was the first perfume I loved again. And it had to be natural since I was carrying a baby all day – I didn’t want any heavy smells or ingredients on their sensitive skin.
3. What is your favourite fragrance (from Abel) and how does it make you feel?
Honestly? I can’t choose just one. I love Pink Iris since it smells like spring in a bottle, Nurture because it brings back so many memories, Grey Labdanum because I love the fact that it’s a bit heavier and Cobalt Amber because it’s so warm. So a much better question is: which one is your favorite right now? And that’s Pink Iris, because, well. Spring.
4. What is inspiring you at the moment?
The possibility of moving house. More nature around us and a less busy city life.
